Gusseinkauf.de was founded by Dr.-Ing. Sergey Ershov. He has many years of experience in the strategic procurement of cast components and has held responsible procurement positions in international industrial corporations.
Dr.-Ing. Sergey Ershov studied foundry engineering at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, where he subsequently earned his doctorate in this field. He also completed a business administration program and obtained an MBA from the University of Oxford.
His combination of foundry engineering expertise and international procurement experience forms the basis of our consulting approach: understanding technical relationships, identifying economic potential, and developing practical solutions for casting procurement.
As the author of the specialist book “Stahl- und Eisenguss für den technischen Einkauf” (“Steel and Iron Castings for Technical Procurement”), published by Vulkan-Verlag in 2016, Sergey Ershov also shares his expertise with buyers, design engineers and other professionals involved in the procurement and development of cast components.
